Unit 2: Structures and Properties

Construct and use geometrically accurate three-dimensional bonding models that describe the probable valence electron distribution in the molecule; use these models to explain structural observations or parameters.

Construct and use models for various molecular substances (including polymers and biomolecules) that highlight the interactions between matter particles and the energy flows between system and surroundings and use these models to explain trends in physical properties.
