Unit 4: How Chemical Change Occurs

Every process has a rate (fast or slow) and factors on which that rate depends. Chemists explain the rates of chemical and physical changes according to the necessary energy, orientation, pressure, and concentration of the involved particles. Chemists use measurements of reaction rate and associated data analysis procedures to draw conclusions about how chemical change happens at the submicroscopic scaleAt the conclusion of Module 4, learners should be able to:  Use submicroscopic models of chemical reactions along with kinetic measurements to explain or predict how a chemical reaction occurs.
