Use submicroscopic models of acid-base reactions to explain or predict the outcome of a chemical reaction, as well as explain chemical measurements, and structural analyses based on pH.

Use submicroscopic redox reaction models and macroscopic electrochemical cell models to explain how energy is harnessed from chemical processes.
