Time Commitment (TA Workload)

The following breakdown reflects the TA Workload form of the English department. What is described below are how hours may be applied over the course of the entire semester. For example, a 3-credit course meets 3 hours/week for 15 weeks which totals 45 hours of scheduled class time for the semester. Please keep these time commitments in mind as you plan your class and provide feedback on student work. Learning to manage time as a teacher-scholar can be an ongoing professional challenge.
