Example 2
An instructor teaching intermediate Greek language and history assigns students selected Greek-language audio recordings of Histories by Herodotus.
In Part 1 of the activity students are asked to assume the role of reporters and submit two questions they would like to ask Herodotus based on the recordings.
In Part 2 of the activity the instructor takes the questions submitted by students, curates them and assigns questions to each individual student in the class in the form of a Word document worksheet. Each student assumes the role of Herodotus and answers the questions in the native target language. Students use the course dropbox to submit the assignment to the instructor who reviews and provides feedback on their work.
