Closing and Wrap-up
Congratulations!
You made it through the 2021 session of Foundations in Horticulture – Growing and Caring for Plants in Wisconsin (FIH).
We hope that this course has strengthened your knowledge and skills in Wisconsin horticulture and that you will continue to build upon this foundation in your own gardening endeavors or as Master Gardener Volunteers. Regardless of how many years you have spent gardening, there is always more to learn! We look forward to connecting with you in future Extension programs.
Credible Sources
Throughout this course we have emphasized the importance of finding credible and reliable sources. We have shared many resources in each module and through our Q&A with the Experts. You still have access to everything in this Canvas course until August 31, 2022. Bookmark those websites we have shared throughout the course so you have them for future use! When you have a gardening question in the future, you’ll be ready to find an answer using the resources we have mentioned and the skills you have learned in this course. Your local county Extension office is another great resource!
Completing the Course
If you would like a Certificate of Completion for the course, please complete the practice quiz in each module by January 15, 2022. We will send Certificates of Completion after January 15, 2022 to everyone completing the quizzes by that deadline. You still have access to the course materials in Canvas until August 31, 2022.
Course Evaluation
Your feedback is very important to us and vital to making improvements to the course.
Master Gardener Program
If you are interested in becoming a Master Gardener after the completion of FIH, you must complete the Master Gardener Program Onboarding online course. The Onboarding course will be open in early 2022. Prior to registering for the Master Gardener Program Onboarding online course, you must connect with your county’s Extension staff. Details were provided in the Master Gardener Program Module.
