Weeds Toolkit for Success
Helpful Hints
- This module is about learning the different types of weeds and their life cycles to help you think about how to choose the appropriate management method.
- There will be some new terms to learn in this module. Use the Keywords and Notes pages to help you. These terms are especially important in relation to understanding herbicide categories and reading chemical labels if you need to use chemical products to help control weed problems.
- Knowing what to do about a specific weed starts with proper identification. There are resources in the Supplemental Materials in this module to help you with this.
- There is a Q & A with an Expert webinar on November 4, from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. with UW-Madison weeds specialist, Mark Renz. Remember to check the Q & A with the Experts module to get your connection link and submit your questions!
