- Gendered violence is not always physical abuse or governmental regulation of bodies. How does institutional violence different from physical, interpersonal gendered violence? How do they support one another?
- How can we see the influences of colonialism in the gendered violence experienced in Latinx culture today?
- What are machismo and marianismo? Are these influential among Latinxs? Are they stereotypes?
- What are some ways we can see machismo and marianismo being challenged in pop culture and art? Who are some leading artists challenging these norms?
