Submitting Grades

Grades can be manually entered through the Faculty Center on the myUW portal, or they can be transferred from your file at Canvas (Canvas).  Instructions are provided at:  https://kb.wisc.edu/luwmad/69249

Retention of grading records

Faculty records of grades should be retained for 5 years.  Source documents (blue books, term papers, exams, etc.) should either be returned to the student or retained for one semester and then destroyed.  See https://www.library.wisc.edu/archives/records-management/uw-madison-records-retention-schedules-and-disposition/ for more details.
