G2.9 Course Registration for Incoming Students

The department will reserve spaces for incoming graduate students in all courses in which they are permitted to enroll. The director of graduate studies will determine the number of spaces to be reserved in consultation with the instructor of the course. “Advisor holds” will be placed on the automatic registration of all incoming graduate students until each new student obtains approval of course selection from a graduate advisor.
