Кыргызстан – страна в Центральной Азии. Официальное название страны – Кыргызская Республика. На кыргызском языке “Кыргызстан” переводится как “земля сорока племён” (но обратите внимание, что это только одна из теорий о том, откуда взялось название “Кыргызстан”). Племя – это социальная и этническая группа людей.

Point to the map of Central Asia and ask your partners if they know what country you are pointing to. If you need help to know where different countries are located, move the slider from the right to the left to reveal the country names. Then move it back and see if you can remember where the countries were. If you don’t know what languages are spoken in a particular country, you can look it up on Google or Wikipedia.
