Things to Remember

- Advise OHR Compliance when an employee no longer needs access to HireRight.
- Only assign an I-9 to another UW Madison staff member when they have had prior I-9 training.
- Keep up to date on employee termination dates – remember to add/remove termination dates as their positions change.
Common Errors: Navigate by Section
OLD–general Errors–>confirm before deleting
- Departments not advising OHR Compliance when access is no longer needed for an I-9 user
- When the I-9 user assigns another UW-Madison staff member as the hiring manager (we have seen I-9 users assign this to their student hires when their student hires have had no training on I-9s)
- Removing and adding termination dates
