About the Author

Lane Sunwall is a final-year Ph.D. candidate in the department of history at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. He is also the Learning Technology Teaching Assistant for the College of Letters & Science Learning Support Services. As LTTA, Lane assists faculty in the integration of teaching technology into their courses, and writes online instructional guides in teaching best practices and grad student professional development. Lane has taught history and religious studies courses at UW-Madison and Minot State University (North Dakota).

College of L&S Learning Support Services assists the students, faculty, and staff in the UW-Madison College of Letters & Science. They promote and support the thoughtful use of technology for teaching and learning through four core service methods.  They offer instructional tools, consultation services, workshops and professional development opportunities, and provide technical support to faculty, staff, and graduate students.
