English 100 Program: Outstanding Teacher Award Guidelines

The English 100 Program invites students to nominate Teaching Assistant instructors for the English 100 Program’s Outstanding Teacher Award. 

To be eligible for the award, the instructor will be a Teaching Assistant who has taught in the English 100 Program during the 2022-2023 academic year.

If you would like to nominate your instructor: Please submit a brief paragraph (100-250 words) describing why you find this instructor outstanding in the teaching of English 100.  Your nomination will be confidential.

You may want to consider some of the following in making your nomination:

  • Attention to students
  • Quality of feedback and advice
  • Impact on students’ learning and development as a writer
  • Quality of writing activities and assignments
  • Overall course experience for students

DEADLINE FOR NOMINATIONS:

  • April 15, 2023
