34 MS Degree: Apply to Graduate

If you are enrolled in an MS program and nearing completion of the program, you should complete the “Apply to Graduate” app in your MyUW Student Center. Please note that within the instructions it states, “Graduate students who apply will still need to contact their major program to request a degree warrant from the Graduate School on their behalf.” To do so, simply email your advisor and let them know the semester you’ve applied to graduate and, if applicable, the semester you’ve applied to participate in the commencement ceremony (see additional information below).

Your advisor will reach out to you when it appears you are nearing completion of your program with additional information. If you believe it is your final semester in the program, and you have not heard from you advisor, you are encouraged to contact them.
