21 Important Program Limitations

Students in the Master’s or Capstone Certificate programs cannot enroll in other graduate or professional degree programs concurrently, nor take courses outside the prescribed curriculum.

If you are a Capstone Certificate student, you may later pursue the same MS degree, applying all of your Capstone Certificate credits towards MS completion requirements. For example, if you are earning the Capstone Certificate in Applied Drug Development, you can apply to and potentially pursue the MS in Pharmaceutical Sciences: Applied Drug Development later on. However, if you complete coursework in one of the MS degrees, you cannot apply that coursework to the ADD/PPI Capstone Certificates or later add an ADD/PPI Capstone Certificate.

Please note: Completing Capstone Certificate credits does not guarantee admission to the MS program, and Capstone Certificate students must apply through the standard MS application process. Capstone Certificate students who have completed or are taking at least 6 credits of coursework at a B or higher level will be more competitive applicants than students with fewer credits or lower than 3.0 GPA.

Credits are transferable in these paths:

ADD Capstone into ADD MS

PPI Capstone into PPI MS

Credits are NOT transferable in these paths:

ADD Capstone into PPI MS

PPI Capstone into ADD MS

ADD MS into either Capstone

PPI MS into either Capstone
