14 Course Planning

The Professional Master’s and Certificate Programs are designed to provide you with flexibility when planning your progression through the program.  You will work with your advisor to develop an individualized Program Planning Sheet (PPS) , outlining what classes you intend to take in different semesters to complete your program. Some classes are only offered in Fall or Spring semesters or are prerequisites to each other, so your PPS will help ensure that your course schedule will be feasible.

You can always make changes to your PPS, but it’s crucial to work with your advisor on those changes to ensure that they will be possible and allow you to complete your program on your timeline.

Below are sample course schedules or plans for each program. Please note that these are only samples, and that your order and pace of classes may look different.
