16 Curricular Exceptions

Curricular exceptions include course substitutions and other approved deviations from degree requirements.

Curricular exceptions are reviewed on an individual, case-by-case basis and should not be considered a precedent. Deviations from normal progress are highly discouraged, but the program recognizes that there are in some cases extenuating academic and personal circumstances.

If you believe you have a valid request for a curricular exception, please email your advisor and explain the specific curricular exception that you are requesting. Your advisor will take that information to the appropriate program staff and/or  faculty to consider.
