Timeline

I propose to extend my dissertation defense date to November or December 2018. This will allow me to revise my three existing chapter (rough) drafts and to be experimental in my approach to form and teaching materials.

A second motivation for this timeline: I have worked very hard to gain access to two teaching-oriented project assistantships. These will prepare me for the specific positions I hope to pursue in the future in a manner distinct from what our department can provide. Both are year-long positions and offer me exciting professionalization opportunities.
