What Clay can Say

Putti

The term “Putti” descries a figure in a work of art that is a chubby, usually naked and winged, male child. Commonly referred as cupid or an angel, the figure can be secular or non-secular. In this jug, the child is surrounded by grapes and vine leaves, a typical cuisine referenced in Greek mythology.
