Introduction

In this module, we turn to international negotiations to reduce or mitigate greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and lower the vulnerability of society to climate change. In this module, you will learn about the Kyoto Protocol, the major international agreement to reduce GHG emissions and its successor, the 2015  Paris Agreement.
