Mwalimu Titi:                  Hujambo Toyin

Mwanafunzi Toyin:         Sijambo mwalimu, Shikamoo

Mwalimu Titi:                  Marahaba. Unaendeleaje

Mwanafunzi Toyin:         Naendela vizuru.

 

(Two friends meet by chance on the street)

Titi:        Mambo

Toyin:   Vipi

Titi:        Unaendeleaje?

Toyin:   Naendelea vizuri sana. Kwaheri

 

(Two friends on different time zones are on a zoom call)

Titi:        Habari za azubuhi

Toyin:   Nzuri. Na wewe, Habari za jioni

Titi:        Njema Unaendeleaje?

Toyin:   Naendelea vizuri.

Titi:        Sawa

 

(Doreen returns home and greets her roommate, Toyin and their friend, Titi)

Doreen: Hodi

Titi na Toyin: Karibu

Doreen: Habari za mchana, mafiki zangu

Toyin: Vizuri. Unaendeleaje

Doreen: Naendelea vizuri
