DEMONSTRATIVE PRONOUNS

Dah this/that (masc.) masc. singular OR plural plants
Dih this/that (fem.) fem. singular OR plural non-human
Dol these/those dual form OR plural human

this is/that is/these are in the beginning in English add dah/dih/dol in the beginning this is a house: dah beit
just this/that/these without is/are add (el ال (in the
beginning in Arabic and dah/dih/dol at the end
this house: el beit dah
there is an “a/an” in English no “a/an” Arabic equivalent a book: ketab
