Descriptive Words

Learning how to describe the world around us is one of the fundamental goals of any language learner. There are many different ways one might choose to do so, but this resource is going to focus on two. First, we will use flashcards to learn the Hmong words for colors. Once you feel confident, go ahead and try the activity. Then, repeat the process with the common descriptor words that you might use to describe the people, places, and things around you! Once you’ve mastered them, you’ll have an excellent base from which to add a little bit of color (not pun intended) to your spoken and written Hmong!
