Introduce Yourself in Arabic
by Angeline Peterson
Welcome to you first lesson in Arabic! The Arabic script can be daunting for a beginner, and it takes some time to learn and memorize a new alphabet. You do not need to know how to read and write in Arabic to communicate as a beginner. Children who cannot yet read and write are still capable of functioning socially among us adults.
Below you will find some interactive flashcards that will teach you how to say hello, introduce yourself, say where you are from, and ask the questions of others as well. Practice the cards a few times, repeating after the recording before turning each card. Let’s hear how you do!
Great work! Now let’s test your knowledge. Take this quiz and see how much you can remember!
