Bahasa Malaysia

Rasa Sayang

Using different emotions

When you’re looking at the different feelings (obviously this is not an ultra comprehensive list) try each time, to begin with “Saya rasa…” (I feel/taste) and then say the emotion.

Saya rasa… – I feel…

  • gembira – glad/happy
  • letih – tired
  • lapar – hungry
  • dahaga – thirsty
  • sedih – sad
  • marah – angry
  • bimbang – worried
  • keyang – full (food)
  • takut – afraid

Again, not all of the emotions in existence, only a bare few, but a suitable starting point. Try using them, maybe make some flashcards with pictures of the pictures with different emotions to remember them better!
